This weekend, my fab assistant Mariah and I are having a blast covering the 2009 Fitchburg Days festival! The event features carnival rides, an Aussie animal adventure with live Wallaroos, tents full of great local and carnival food, beer from Capitol Brewery, and LOTS of great live music. Last night we enjoyed corndogs, funnel cake, fireworks, and Super Tuesday, a fantastic cover band! We’re headed back to check out the animal show and a trolley ride today, so not much time to post, but here’s a quick preview of what we’re enjoying.
Come on out to Fitchburg and have fun with us! The festival runs tonight, Saturday May 16, until 12:30 am and tomorrow, Sunday May 17, from 10am to 6pm. You won’t regret it!
