I’m very excited for Julie and Matt’s upcoming wedding in Spring Green, Wisconsin. When Julie told me that they wanted to do their engagement portraits on a sailboat, I was thrilled! This shoot was such a fun experience- both Mariah’s and my first time on a sailboat, too! We had great weather, although it was a tad hot outside. We got a little help from the wind and Julie’s dad, who skippered the boat. Much thanks to him and Tim, who took care of the sailboat before AND after the shoot!
After we got tons of beautiful images on the sailboat itself, we headed over to Julie and Matt’s beautiful backyard in the Vilas neighborhood. Their home is so comfy and inviting, even from the outside. We got even more gorgeous images of the couple enjoying the little haven they have created, complete with a garden and beautiful flowers.
