Generally, I post portraits on another blog. Today’s post, though, is the beautiful son of one of my wedding clients, so I am sharing it here, too!
Last year, I had the pleasure and honor of shooting a wedding for a dear, dear friend of the family. In fact, their images were the first posted to this blog! Jake and my little brother have been best friends since kindergarten, and now that they are all grown up I still consider Jake to be practically like my other little brother. My “brother from another mother,” as they would say (love ya, Karin!). I am so happy that both my brothers have turned out to be such amazing men.
Jake and his beautiful wife have had to endure what must be one of the hardest things for newlyweds and new parents to face: Deployment. Jake is currently stationed in Iraq, far from his new bride and his brand new son, Alex. My heart goes out to these two. All that I can offer to help them through this time is photographs of their precious little one for Jake to view from across the ocean- and I am so happy to do that!
To the new parents: your little boy is beautiful.Â
I look forward to someday soon, when we can all four get together to capture images of your happy family, together at last. Enjoy your preview.
Let’s start with some baby fingers and toes:

Salute to Daddy! Alex shows his pride:

Fun inside baskets…fitting in small spaces like this doesn’t last long, does it?Â![]()

Aaaw, just look at this face!
