I did not have any intention of putting up a blog post like this today. In fact, I thought that my blog entry would be a few shots from a recent newborn session (but we’ll get to that later in another post). Instead of putting together some baby blog images, though, I’m sitting at my computer crying and laughing at the same time.
One of the most un-desired words when you are planning a wedding is the word “unexpected.” Every couple wants their wedding day to be unique, but to go smoothly and without surprises for the most part. However, sometimes the unexpected can be just the ticket to making your day a perfect reflection of you and your spouse’s personalities and commitments to one another. Today, a friend of mine posted this video below on Facebook because she was one of the nearly 2 million people to stumble across it so far. I had no clue what to expect when I clicked on the link. It was true love! An inspiring surprise that would shock and wow any wedding guest. I think my favorite thing about this couple’s surprise is the utter happiness that permeates the entire room as two people meet at an altar to join their lives as one.
To any of my upcoming wedding couples: if you are inspired to throw something like this together, let me know ahead of time so I can splurge on extra assistants.Â![]()
Enjoy!
As a side note, I thought that our wedding was awesome because we walked down the aisle to Peter Gabriel’s “The Book of Love” and recessed to the “Imperial March” from Star Wars. These guys blew us out of the water!
