Best of 2009 :: Dresses! :: Wisconsin Wedding Photographer

These Best of 2009 posts are a blast for me- I love this excuse to go back and re-visit each wedding that was part of my first year on this spectacular journey.Each one has presented its own learning experiences and thrills to me, and I look back on them all very fondly.

Today’s Best Of post features another of my favorite shots of the day: the dress shot! I love kidnapping the dress and taking it on its own little adventure before all of the excitement of the day gets into full swing. It’s a moment of stillness in a day otherwise filled with activity. And truly- after you’ve spent hours paging through magazines and staring at mirrors in dress shops, isn’t it great to give your gown a little cameo moment of its own?
